A project now has a team as well as a client. The new Project Team card on the project page lists the client and everyone else you add with a role: owner, architect, engineer, contractor, expediter, plan checker, consultant or other. Pick an existing contact or type a name to add one on the spot. Roles belong to the project, so the engineer on one job can be the client on the next.
Every milestone can now say who it's waiting on: you, the agency, the project's client or anyone on its team. Set it when you add or edit a milestone. The permit page's milestones table and your home dashboard show it, and the Permits page gets a Waiting on filter beside the client filter, so a permit expediter can pull up everything that's stuck with one plan checker or engineer.
The Clients page is now Contacts, since it holds everyone, and its table shows each person's roles across your projects ("Client · 3 projects, Engineer · 1"). Old links to the Clients page still work.
As before, contacts are for your own records: none of this appears on public dashboards or calendar feeds, Permit Advisor never reads it, and Permitful never contacts them.
