Every permit type in Permitful now has a standard milestone sequence, based on how agencies usually review that kind of permit: plan check, trade permit, public hearing, staff clearance or environmental review.
On any permit, click Add standard milestones and pick a start date, usually the day you submit the application. Permitful shows each milestone with its typical date and a short note, all selected by default:
- Uncheck any step that doesn't apply. The remaining dates stay where they are.
- Milestones you already have are marked as added, so running it twice never creates duplicates.
- Every date is editable afterwards, like any other milestone.
