Subscribing to Your Calendar
See every milestone and permit expiry date in Google, Apple or Outlook Calendar.
The Calendar Feed
With Pro, you can subscribe to a live calendar feed. Every milestone on your active projects shows up as an all-day event, including private milestones, with completed ones marked ✓. Permits with an expiry date add two events: a reminder 30 days before and the expiry day itself.
Set It Up
- Go to Settings → Calendar.
- Click Create calendar link.
- Click Add to Google Calendar, Add to Apple Calendar or Add to Outlook.
Using Outlook for work, or another calendar app? Copy the link and add it as a calendar from the internet, sometimes called subscribing by URL.
When Changes Show Up
Calendar apps check the feed on their own schedule, usually every few hours, so a date you change in Permitful appears in your calendar the next time it checks. Google Calendar can take up to a day.
Keep the Link Private
Anyone with the link can see your milestones, with their project and permit names. If you share it by mistake, click Reset link on the same page. The old link stops working right away, so add the new one to your calendar again.
Without Pro
If your account is no longer on Pro, the feed is paused and subscribed calendars show no milestones. Upgrade to turn it back on; your link stays the same.
On any plan, you can still add a single milestone to Google Calendar or Outlook, or download it as an .ics file, from a permit's milestones.
